and nice places to sit and enjoy. Check out the I love this park. I play soccer there and have picnics regularly.Bring or rent ice skates in winter for a really fun time skating. (Followed by a warm up at cafe on Rachel) Definitely the most romantic (and cheap!) winter date in town.

I came to Montreal for the Jazz festival...
and really enjoyed my time at La Gite du parc fontaine. It is walking distance to everything and right across from a beautiful park. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A nice breakfast of toast, jam, fruit and coffee in the morning on the terrace.
