The typical tourist area
We're not very big on places like this with tons of people, but endured it for a day anyways out of our stay. Showed up in the morning, and wasnt very busy, but by lunch time jeez, we had the hardest time getting into the shops due to

Worth going for the Sea Lions!
While exploring San Francisco, a trip isn't complete without a visit to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. Yes, it's a tourist trap. Most things are overpriced. BUT --- the views from the end of the pier are amazing. They are either really

If you want to shop and people watch.........

Been going for 18 Years...
I can watch those seals for hours! How adorable. I usually go down the street to Rainforest Cafe for lunch though. I'm not usually a Cesar Salad person but Rainforest has the best one I HAVE EVER TASTED! I've never tried the Pier 39 Cuisine myself. But there is several ways to go wrong with sea food even though when cooked properly it is awesome. I never hear anybody really ranting and raving about the Piers sea food so I kinda like to stick to budget. Getting a nice sourdough bowl of hot clam chowder is my favorite...but you have to look out for cheap chowder marketers who are just out to get a dime. They'll sell you the canned crap so watch out.
