We stop in everytime we are in the city. Get our nails done and your average mall salon for a reasonable price, there is a Cafe du Monde and the familar mall shops, plus a few trinket places. We stopped in the first time the year after

Riverwalk had MANY, MANY shuttered shops. Abercrombie closed its doors forever while we were there! The shops that remained were mostly the same "junk" shops you get in the stalls of the French Market, but with higher prices.

Skip the Riverwalk. You can find a mall anywhere in America, you don't need to go to a tourist trap mall in New Orleans. I never could find my way around that thing, much less find anything I actually wanted. That's kind of scary to me,
