Yuck
I'm visiting SAT on a business trip, and this place seemed pretty unique, so I decided to have dinner here tonight. Let's just say you don't come here for food. 1. Yes, the scantily clad waitresses were a big selling point, but of course
Had a GREAT time-GREAT DJ
We went here as our last stop of bar hopping on a Saturday night. It was a lot of fun. Great DJ, reasonably priced beer and good atmosphere. If you visit San Antonio, I recommend it for great dancing and music and alcohol.

this place is terrible and misleading
I was born and raised in scotland came to texas in 1972 and I can say without reservation that I was served the worst fish and chips I have ever tried to eat.my grandson had the cottage pie,and could not eat it either.to be fair he had been once before and thought the cottage pie was very good.He was so disappointed.

Average Bar Atmosphere with Fabulous Food
The bar scene was just average. A bunch of TVs with half drunk men screaming, skinny waitress in a british love slave garment, and a bathroom that I just didn't trust enough to use. But the food was really good. I ordered a steak with baked

This place is something SPECIAL!
Mad Dogs is great. Perched on the best corner of the Riverwalk with a great cooled terrace. A British pub with a unique difference. Cool looking bar and lots of Brit stuff...telephone booth, letter box, bagpipes and even a real Austin Powers Mini crashing out of the stage. Good food with speciality British pub grub, bangers and mash, cottage pie and their famous Fish and Chips. We had the burgers - very good for a pub! The uniforms were great, both girls and guys in the cutest KILTS. They also have entertainment every night, we only saw the Sunday offering, a great cover band called Chris Boss and The Fuss.....this pub made our trip to San Antonio and the River. My grlfirend fell in love with the boys kilts! I was nearly tempted to buy a kilt to take home with me :) ...Rock on Mad Dogs!
