This museum is way overpriced for its contents. Seemed to be mostly stuffed animal heads. Some were interesting--African elephants, etc, but most were deer or Elk or other native animals. Texas Ranger add on was interesting but at almost $20

Place for Trophy Hunters
The advertisement we saw for the Buckhorn Saloon promised a great history of Texas, and information about the Texas Rangers. Well, we were sorely disappointed. There were many mounted heads of many dead animals. The "museum" is not worth it if you don't want to see mounted animal heads from various continents of the world. Yes, there was some history of Texas, but not what the brochure sounded like. Stay away if you don't want to see the animal heads. The Texas Ranger section was quite small, and focused on individuals instead of the organization as a whole. I do not recommend this attraction.
